RTON – Frequently Asked Questions
The access into your property affects our ability to offer Rent to Own. We CAN offer this program to clients who do not have access to drop off a shed fully assembled in certain cases but further investigation into your site will be necessary and certain additional on site construction and crane fees may apply. Please call us at 760-244-5263 to discuss your options.
This varies based on your geographic location. Some areas we can only deliver 8′ wide sheds due to wide load restrictions. Other areas we can deliver sheds up to 12′ wide. Please call us at 760-244-5263 for more information on your area.
Shed World serves Southern California. Rent to Own has some geographical limitations but for the most part it is offered in the entire Southern California Region. Please call us to find out if this program is available in your area.
If you decide you no longer want the shed just call us and we will come and pick it up. There is a 6 month minimum. You must pay rent through the day that we pick up the shed. There are no penalties to return a shed.
YES! In fact if you pay off your shed early you will receive a discount of 40% off of the remaining monthly payments. For example let’s say you have 20 payments of $100 left before you own the shed. This means you still owe $2000. If you buy out the contract at this time you would only owe $1200. This is 40% off of the remaining $2000 owed… An $800 savings!
There is no credit check required. Bad credit is no problem.
We see clients with all kinds of credit use our simple and affordable Rent to Own program. We do however have other payment plans available for those with great credit. We work with a credit union that offers great rates. See our Financing Page for more information.
Monthly payments are approximately 5% of the before tax cash price of the shed. This means if you are looking at a shed that is $2500 your monthly rent would be approx. $125 ($2500 x 5% = $125). The down payment required under our program is the first month’s rent, a $19.95 processing fee and a security deposit (one month’s rent less tax). This can be simplified as 10% down and 5% per month.
Yes our payment does include sales tax. Be careful as some competitors show lower monthly payments that do not include sales tax.
